Insurance General Terms and Conditions

Policy wording is the terms, conditions and definitions of insurance coverage as they are written down in the Insurance Policy.

Our Product details, are considered in a high level of importance, so we recommend that every policdyholder gets to know each benefit, exclussions and especifications considered within it´s insurance.

This document contains every detail and information regarding the Insurance Product chosen by our clients.

Under the case, that any of our products has special conditions, these are specified in document called endorsement, which modifies conditions or exclussions of the Policy wording.

Definitions of technical terms used for any Insurance Policy are listed within the document, and are certain words that appear throughout the policy. In all cases they will be explained with their meanings.

Benefits or risks covered like Medical Expenses, Repatriation of Remains, Accidental Death, etc) and how they can be applied, if the case.

Amounts of coverage, are the maximum amounts to be covered by the Insurance Company for each benefit, specified in the insurance Policy.

Policyholders rights and obligations; are the Information that our clients need to tell the Insurance Company, when there exists certain cases or information that needs to be known as it may affect the terms of the insurance coverage, and must, to the best of policyholder knowledge, give accurate answers to the questions asked when an unexpected event takes place.

General Exclussions and/or specific benefit exclussions are specified in this document, and with each benefit, so policyholders can be aware of what is covered and what is not. We reccomend our policyholders, and travelling companions to consider that having any medical condition for which the recommended treatment or prescribed medication, directed by a medical practitioner is not being taken, may put the policyholder in higher risks. When policyholders and travelling companions are aware of any medical condition known but for which a diagnosis has not yet been received, must be mentioned to the Insurance Company.
