The Assistance will collaborate by coordinating the situation, and sending policyholders to the nearest clinic or hospital, for their medical attention.
(It is important that policyholders should always carry on the certificate or Coverage Letter information where you can find policy number, certificate number and so do phone number and address where to contact).

Just in group cases, Insurance Card is given to each participant of a group. This Insurance is not the kind that you have access to a Hospital and get attention just by showing your Insurance card. One of the benefits of our insurances is the direct payment; the policyholder should call to the Central Assistance, so the insured will be sent to the nearest clinic or hospital, for their medical attention. In that case, The central Assistance is in charge of medical coordination, and the policyholder will have the direct payment guarantee, from the Insurance company to the hospital, excepting in cases where the cost of the claim exceeds the sum insured hired. In case of NOT calling The Central Assistance, before turning to any doctor; Policyholders will be asked for the original documents that demonstrate expenses for the medical emergency experimented during their trip. For this, Policyholders must communicate with the Insurance Company to carry out the process of reimbursement.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Policyholders are sent to the local doctors, or hospitals, and in some cases, these doctors or Hospitals refuse to accept direct payment from Insurance Companies, and prefer immediate payments from the patient. This Kind of situations are not on the Insurance company control, so the Policyholder will pay and proceed with reimbursement claim.
